As Mad Men begins its final voyage, I feel I really need to get something off my chest: I don't like Mad Men, and I've never really understood why it's the recipient of so much praise.

It's not that I hate Mad Men, I just don't see the appeal. And I didn't just watch one episode and come to this conclusion; I tried, I really did.

A few years ago, after hearing countless people wax lyrical about the amazing storytelling and the amazing hotness of Don Draper, I decided it was of the utmost importance that I watch the show. So much so, that I went ahead and bought the first three seasons on DVD without ever having watched an episode. If you take nothing else away from this article, please...

Women should be proud of their bodies. But our latest obsession with seeing "real" postpartum bodies in bikinis, complete with rolls, sagging and stretch marks, isn't always an inspiration to all women.

The attack on moms is a real one. Men might think we're crazy, but women can pick up on it right away because of all the psychological jabs we endured and doled out in junior high school. It's a passive-aggressive war, the worst kind, where we are constantly being bombarded online with photographs of moms who have just given birth and look hot. Or, on the flip side, photos of moms who have body flaws and, in some part, contribute to this myth that it's over once you have kids.

We...

The sound of "noooooo!" heard around the country today is due to the massive Kraft Macaroni & Cheese recall that was announced on Monday.

Kraft Foods Group, Inc. has chosen to recall 242,000 cases of the beloved blue boxes because of a risk that they may contain small pieces of metal. Yikes! Metal? In a statement, a Kraft spokesperson said that "a piece of stainless steel got wedged in a metal piece of equipment, which may have generated friction that resulted in small pieces of metal potentially falling into the product."

Although the company "deeply apologize to the consumers" it has disappointed, this news comes on the heels of a similar recall less than four years ago, when Kraft...

To celebrate Foreign Language Week, Pine Bush High School has read the Pledge of Allegiance in a different language each day, but when Arabic was used, it ignited a firestorm.

The reaction was swift — teachers in classrooms at the New York high school had to move fast to quell the outbursts as students tried to drown out the recitation. It didn't stop there, as kids took to Twitter to sound off, and later that afternoon, the principal apologized via building-wide announcement, which of course just angered those who were in support of Foreign Language Week.

What seemed to be a simple celebration of different languages has instead torn the small town apart, and it now reaches...

Shailene Woodley has doubled down on her rejection of the feminist label, leaving us wondering if she knows what feminism actually is.

Last year in an interview with Time, Insurgent star Shailene Woodley made the surprising statement that she does not identify as a feminist, citing that she loves men too much. "I think that if men went down and women rose to power, that wouldn't work either," explained the young actress. "We have to have a fine balance."

Unfortunately, that balance that Woodley idealizes here is the very foundation of feminism. I'm not sure where she got the idea that feminism bases itself in misandry and the destruction of men, but she needs a wake-up call....
